Replications and Commissions

Gloria paints primarily in large format, her most iconic works are four feet by five feet or four feet by two feet. She does not sell copies or prints. She will, however, reproduce large format works in smaller, more affordable sizes by completely repainting the piece to a desired scale. She stays true to the original piece in layout, posture, and style, but due to the techniques used in her artwork she cannot replicate color palettes or exact details. This results in beautiful, unique pieces mimicking her iconic originals. However, the process of producing replicas does eventually stymie her creativity, and therefore Gloria limits the total possible replicas of each piece to a comfortable number. Replicas therefore come with a unique number alongside the signature (or on the back of the canvas if desired) indicating the order in sequence of creation as well as the total number of replicas ever available, ex. “1 of 3”.

Gloria also accepts commissions for large format paintings and can accommodate suggestions for concept/subject, style, and general color palette.
